Strengthening logistics: VGH takes a share in Klaus und Klaus

Schwelm, 30th September 2010 –VGH Viktoria Garten Hüttenindustriebedarf AG has taken a majority 51 percent share in Klaus und Klaus Speditions GmbH. Klaus und Klaus,the international transport and logistic service provider has transferred its headquarters from Nordhorn to Schwelm in order to integrate services in VGH AG more efficiently.

Klaus und Klaus GmbH has specialized in transport to the CIS Commonwealth of Independent States and covers a wide area of services including double storey, refridgerated transport or transport of hazardous good, oversized and specizalized transport and ranging to warehousing and freight handling services. Since the founding of Klaus und Klaus in 1999  VGH AG has been one of the company’s major clients.

Alexander Klaus, Managing Director of Klaus und Klaus Speditions GmbH, is pleased about the new collaboration: „“We are strengthening the internal logistic competence of VGH directly on site and in this new constellation we will be in a position to activate new fields of business. For example, this will include extending our transport services to focus more on backhaul transport from CIS countries to West Europe.“
